Dr Williams realized that she could best heal herself and serve others with an approach that combined alternative and conventional modalities. Therefore, she completed a two-year Integrative Medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona, training under the guidance of esteemed Drs. Andrew Weil and Tierarona Low Dog, and became board certified in Integrative Medicine.
Dr Williams is certified in Whole Food Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University and can help guide you in addressing the ways the food you eat might be contributing to your illness. She also uses food and natural sources, such as herbs and supplements to aid in healing.
Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.” - Hippocrates.
Dr Williams' transition from conventional medicine to Integrative Medicine was featured in an article by C. R. Wagner in 2017.
