Financial Policies
Access to integrative medicine is often unavailable to underserved populations, who are often at the greatest risk and can benefit the most from an integrative approach to chronic diseases and mental health challenges. It is our mission to be able to provide equitable access to care for all, despite insurance coverage or ability to pay.
The ample time needed to develop a healing doctor-patient relationship and to understand an individual’s medical history is frequently not possible within the conventional health care delivery system. Our services are an out-of-netowrk benefit for many health insurance plans. We can provide you with a detailed bill to submit for possible insurance reimbursement. However, we do not directly bill insurance companies. Dr Williams has opted-out of coverage with medicare. Charges are based on time spent in direct patient care although Dr Williams will be dedicating additional time outside of the visit on research, consultation, and collaboration of care. Hourly rate is $349.00. Initial evaluation typically is 90 to 120 minutes. Follow-up visits are generally 30-60 minutes as needed.
